Today I happend to come accross an unlocked bike, I decided to steal it and enjoy it. I brought it home and left it in the shared hall of the apartment im staying in. I come home after a night shift to fond the bike beaten up and broken on the street…
God works in mysterious ways, i don’t know…
You’re a fucking bike thief, you asshole. It’s not about what you deserve. You deserve nothing in life, ever, no one does. See, people? This is the harm in religion right here, people that believe in some cosmic equalizer, who think they’ve been good all year and they deserve a little treat at someone else’s expense. You disgust me. Your problem is that you’re a sucker for the Just World Fallacy. You think there’s some god or some supernatural force balancing everything out just because your mind can’t comprehend the fact that the world is unjust, unfair and always will be. All life is like that. There is no justice outside of the law, there is no reason to think there’s any karma and there is no reason to think there’s any god dolling out mysterious rewards and punishments. Your imagination is overriding your ability to reason. If your stolen bike was destroyed, perhaps you live in a shitty area or have shitty neighbors. I know for a fact that your neighbors have at least one shitty neighbor: You.
It’s not karma or god punishing you that explains what happened to that bike, it’s just a coincidence that sucks for whoever actually worked for and loved that bike and who likely freaked out and lost trust in his or her fellow man when he discovered it was missing you scum.
By the way, Stay the fuck out of Philadelphia, man, people like you are spit upon. I don’t even ride and I know if you fuck with someone’s bike you’re ostracized forever.
I found this story, btw, reading -iwilldestroyyou
