You know what’s not funny? Hate. You know what’s also not funny? People going on hate-filled rants. However, you know what is funny, people going on hate-filled rants that make so little sense that they sound like someone took the worst comments from a political message board, mixed all the words around, translated them to Japanese, and then translated them back. And that’s what happened at a council meeting in Lincoln, Nebraska and it resulted in one of the craziest videos you’ll see this week.

Recently, Nebraskan cities have been trying to deal with the lack of protection that LGBT citizens have from discrimination. The state’s anti-discrimination laws don’t cover sexual orientation. YouTube user aksarbent has been uploading videos of some of the more interesting moments from hearings on the issue. One of them, he or she labeled “Best in Show!” and, good lord, is that not hyperbole.

I promise this is the best video you’ll watch today. Just….wow.

lol, Look at these fucking idiots, digging their own holes.

Reporter Megan Carpentier undergoes unnecessary transvaginal ultrasound in response to the debate over recent legislation in Oklahoma, Virginia, Texas and soon Pennsylvania.

She filmed it (above) and wrote about it here. (She doesn’t actually show her vagina in the video, so, you know, if you needed to know that before clicking play, now you know.)

As you might be able to tell, it was vigorously uncomfortable — more than a typical pelvic exam, with which most women are very familiar. In part, it’s more uncomfortable because the technician has to press the wand directly against the areas she wants to get an image of — your uterus, Fallopian tubes and ovaries — so there’s more movement and more direct contact with pressure-sensitive areas of your body; you’re also not lying flat on your back to facilitate access to the upper reaches of your vagina; and you’re being penetrated with a longer, rigid object than is used in a regular pelvic exam. In my case, as the technician explained after, my uterus is “high,” or tilted toward my abdomen, so she had to tilt the wand accordingly — and because it was so uncomfortable, she halted the exam before fully exploring my Fallopian tubes or ovaries.

Here’s what I don’t understand about Conservatives, maybe someone can help me out: On the one hand, will post idiotic things like

Listening to Prosecutor Corey blow herself and her staff for five minutes before pre-passing judgment on George Zimmerman. The state seeks reelection again, truth aside. I and my coworkers could rewrite the book on whether our urban youths are victims of racist profiling or products of their failed, shitbag, ignorant, pathetic, welfare dependent excuses for parents,

online and then defend their bigotry, often in this manner:

“I am a private citizen and have the same right to freely express an opinion on any subject that anyone else does. I choose not to embellish or alter the facts as your employer chose to do.”

And then at the same time, the same fucking people turn around and declare so often that private companies have the right to discriminate against anyone for sexual orientation, religious expression, an embarrassing video on their facebook page, whatever. Government intervention in a company’s hiring and firing practices is never acceptable because it violates the companies liberty, but, all of the sudden, when someone posts something like captain fucknut up here, it’s magically a free speech issue.

Stop pretending Santorum’s Louisiana win matters. This is the score, the primaries are essentially over. Santorum does not have a chance. It’s fun to be outraged by the shit he says and yes, his success has an impact on the idiotic right-wing (let’s be honest folks, they’re dumb as a box of hammers) in general, but he has no shot at the nomination.

Santorum loving pastor who says “God hates homosexuality” “God would never take from the rich to give to the poor” “there is no separation from church from state. (sic) I’m a lawyer!” tells Mitt Romney to renounce his “racist religion”

Well, he sounds like an intelligent fella, lol.

Anti-intellectual, race-baiting, hate-monger and an insult to journalism everywhere, Andrew Breitbart is dead. (via Conservative blogger Andrew Breitbart dead at 43 - CNN.com)

Ron Paul: Abortion OK if it’s for an “honest rape.”

This fucking guy is just the worst.

Ayn Rand: My views on charity are very simple. I do not consider it a major virtue and, above all, I do not consider it a moral duty. I regard charity as a marginal issue.
Mitt Romney: I'm not concerned with the very poor
