I laughed at the schizophrenic woman’s rant. I didn’t know she was schizophrenic because her rant wasn’t too far off the GOP talking points. Here are a few reasons.

4) Respected Christian right broadcaster, Bryan Fischer says that gays are literally Nazis.

5) Finally, please tell me how anything that woman said is anymore delusional than this Falwell/Robertson broadcast two days after 9/11:

You know what’s not funny? Hate. You know what’s also not funny? People going on hate-filled rants. However, you know what is funny, people going on hate-filled rants that make so little sense that they sound like someone took the worst comments from a political message board, mixed all the words around, translated them to Japanese, and then translated them back. And that’s what happened at a council meeting in Lincoln, Nebraska and it resulted in one of the craziest videos you’ll see this week.

Recently, Nebraskan cities have been trying to deal with the lack of protection that LGBT citizens have from discrimination. The state’s anti-discrimination laws don’t cover sexual orientation. YouTube user aksarbent has been uploading videos of some of the more interesting moments from hearings on the issue. One of them, he or she labeled “Best in Show!” and, good lord, is that not hyperbole.

I promise this is the best video you’ll watch today. Just….wow.

18-month-old daughter of Muslim family kicked off plane was on ‘no fly list.’

Shaun Winkler, a white supremacist in Idaho running as a Republican for Bonner County sheriff, is defending his recent cross burning ceremony, after having invited members of the media to attend the event last week.

“Mainstream society looks at cross lighting as a symbol of hate, but it predates the Klan by hundreds of years,” Winkler told the Bonner County Daily Bee. “We look at it more as a religious symbol.”

“Most people don’t know that we don’t just oppose the Jews and the negroes,” he said, according to the Daily Bee. “We also oppose sexual predators and drugs of any kind.”
