Williams, pretending to be “Reno,” called a Domestic Violence counseling line, not a battered women’s shelter. He told the counselor he’d been attacked by his wife and that he needed a place to go. The counselor explained to him that he’d called a counseling line and that she personally couldn’t arrange for shelter, but that if he called the men’s help line, they could arrange for him and his 6-year-old son to get free hotel accommodations at a location unknown to his wife. The counselor offered several times to connect him directly to the men’s help line.
Williams also told the counselor that he was thinking of calling the police. She told him she could connect him directly to the police, and would be happy to explain his situation to them and to make sure he reached an officer who specializes in domestic violence.
Ignoring all her offers to assist him in getting shelter and further help, Williams insisted that he wanted to be housed in a battered woman’s shelter instead. The counselor, naturally, was puzzled by this strange insistence on his part, and explained to him again that he could get free shelter at a local hotel for as long as he needed.
Like all “men’s rights” “activists” this guy is a complete asshole.

Yes, of course White Pride is racist and Black Pride and Brown Pride are not. Black and Brown Pride are movements designed to stand in opposition of the prejudice people face from both White individuals and an inherently racist system. White Pride is support for that very establishment that taught Brown and Black skinned people they should be ashamed. These phrases aren’t just face-value, they all carry weight and your ignorance of the historical significance of these phrases doesn’t change the real meanings behind them.
White people are discriminated against all the time. I’ve had it happen to me multiple times.
No you haven’t, not for being a White person and even if you think you have, not only would you be wrong, but it wouldn’t matter. Racism is a system of oppression, it’s a problem with society. It’s not a bad day you had and it’s not someone being rude to you. It’s a society designed to make one race of people more likely to end up in jail despite committing the same crimes at the same rate. It’s a system that allows one race to dominate industry, politics, medicine and the arts even while people of another race are the ones constantly innovating. Do you know what percentage of fortune 500 companies in the history of ever have had a black CEO? 13 Black CEOs have EVER run a Fortune 500 company. Not 13%. 13 individuals. Ever. And of those 13, half of them are currently the CEO. (added layer, of those 13, only one has been a woman.)
Do you really think White people just work harder and that’s why this sort of thing occurs? Do you really think there is any equality at all between some bullshit you perceived as discrimination, probably because you felt uncomfortable in a city once, and actual discrimination?

During conservative idiot, Brian Kilmeade’s radio show, a guest called in and complimented Alisyn Camerota, the Fox News anchor who joins Kilmeade on his radio program and typically fills in for “Fox & Friends” host Gretchen Carlson.
“Well you and all the women of Fox, I don’t know who was the scout that got you guys, but they rock,” the guest said.
“It was Brian,” Camerota joked. “But thank you very much, that’s very sweet.”
Kilmeade, whose sexist joke once caused his female co-host to walk off the set of Fox News’ morning show, offered a different explanation. He said, “It was actually, we go into the Victoria’s Secret catalog and we said, ‘Can any of these people talk?’ And they all could and they all went to college.”
Incidentally, flipping through that catalog is the only outlet for Kilmeade to get off.
