Depends on whether you want to accept their attempted derailment and talk about their god, in which case you’ll have to force them to clarify what god myth they’re talking about and how they can be so sure it loves you, or if you want to keep along the path of debating welfare. Maybe you can tell them to ditch all their possessions and move into section 8 housing for a year and see if they still think god can handle taking care of the poor.
