Real Abortion Conversation.
Pro-Lifer: It doesn't matter if it's a women's body! What about the child?!
Me: I suppose she can make another one.
Pro-Lifer: (Shocked look) Is life expendable?!
Me: Well, answer me this: Did you support the Iraqi War?
Pro-Lifer: Of course I did!
Me: Then what makes you think you can look me in the eye and say that you're "Pro-Life?"
The conversation ended.

giveusrest: I don’t understand our society. Thank you for presenting your credentials up front, I’ll be sure to take this into account how uninformed you are as I read your nonsense. So many people accuse the entire Catholic Church of being actively promoting child molestation. being actively promoting, eh? Sounds like you’ve nearly grasped the language. That is just pure...

Can you Scientifically Test Morals?
non-atheist: In the article, Do We Need Religion for Morality? the author states: Richard Dawkins says no.  “We don’t need to get morals from our religions … We don’t want to find morals from the holy books. We can have our own enlightened secular values.” We do need God, however, to account for the existence of morals.  Why? Explain that. Evolution - no natural process - can do...

Ron Paul's Fans Want Him to Make a Third-Party Run... →
The GOP presidential contest isn’t over, but Paul’s backers have made him the early favorite in Americans Elect’s effort to draft an independent contender. As someone who is not a Ron Paul fan, I also desperately want him to run on a 3rd party ticket! Do it Ron! Split that vote up!

bouncingdodecahedrons asked: On that post with the person talking about evolution having problems because of the fuzzy origin of life, I would add that evolution is not supposed to explain the origin of life, only how life changed and became more complex, etc. AFT the origin of life. Other theories, like Abiogenesis, concern the origin of life, but not evolution. So using the lack of knowledge on the origin of life when...

non-atheist: Yeah… right. More like the “Science” community would rather you just not know about them. The real question is, whose really hiding the discussion? Oh, what direction to take this one? Should I point out your absurd conspiracy theory or should I pick on your repeated use of the appeal to authority? Atheists are always talking about how religious people are blindly leading...

A faith-based hospital in, hyuck hyuck, Dallas, Texas? Well, yee-haw, let’s pretend this is gonna be objective, wee-doggy. “The emails show that Karen Handel was behind the entire decision to defund Planned Parenthood,” The Huffington Post’s Laura Bassett told CNN’s Soledad O’Brien Monday. “She was behind the strategy to develop the new criteria for who can be funded and she’s been behind the PR effort to clean up what’s happened since the decision was announced.

Komen Caved
mystagogy: What a disappointment.  Komen to Fund Planned Parenthood I almost donated to them yesterday. Many, many pro-life people did. Komen said their contributions doubled. I hope they return those donations, but I’m not counting on it. Many also donated to Planned Parenthood yesterday. Last I heard, they got about $400,000 from people protesting Komen. bigdreamsinchrist asked: ed for that they believed. Now these men claimed that they saw and walked with Christ. Probably why so many doubt it), but there was also very...
